With a little luck, Cururupe's César da Rocha got control of the ball when Joel Ihintza tried to sneak it across the goal line. 31 minutes into the match, Cururupe's goal looked a bit too open when Joel Ihintza came free, but César da Rocha reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. César da Rocha stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Joel Ihintza's shot from short distance in the 41st minute. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

After having played for 52 minutes, Joel Ihintza managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. MeninoMeuFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Joel Ihintza was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In a very dangerous position, a player in Cururupe fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 54th minute. Penalty! 61 minutes into the match, Joel Ihintza had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of César da Rocha. Cururupe's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Joel Ihintza was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0. In the 64th minute, Joel Ihintza made a precise shot to the right of César da Rocha. Cururupe's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-0. Cururupe's Paulão Netto shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 68th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Marcinho Trevisan but with some difficulty. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Joel Ihintza in the 87th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg César da Rocha saved Cururupe from getting behind. Luisinho Faria received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 88th minute. César da Rocha tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Joel Ihintza in the 90th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg César da Rocha saved Cururupe from getting behind. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Joel Ihintza in the 95th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck César da Rocha prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When MeninoMeuFC's Joel Ihintza in the 97th minute got a chance for a shot 97th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Cururupe's goalie prevented a goal.
