Rafa Azevedo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Naldo Vale, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Rafa Azevedo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Naldo Vale in the 24th minute of play. 25 minutes into the match, €tílicos SELLING OUT's Rubens de Brito sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Leandro Marinho narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 26th minute, Fábio Tande hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Luiz Gustavo de Lara sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 30th match minute, Dunas SC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Aloísio Diniz to maneuver through the defense. If Naldo Vale had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to €tílicos SELLING OUT getting a freekick after 35 minutes play. Dida Barros hit a great ball. Erivaldo Sergipano was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 36th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in €tílicos SELLING OUT's zone, Naldo Vale stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rafa Azevedo came out of the goal and Naldo Vale tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Naldo Vale to strike the kick off in the second half. Luizinho Aparecido received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 53rd minute. Rafa Azevedo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Naldo Vale got free with Rafa Azevedo in the 54th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Luiz Gustavo de Lara fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Leandro Marinho having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 60th minute, Luiz Gustavo de Lara managed to get in a good position for a shot. €tílicos SELLING OUT's supporters rose to their feet, but Luiz Gustavo de Lara was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Leandro Marinho breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Rafa Azevedo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Naldo Vale in the 66th minute of play. After 66 played minutes €tílicos SELLING OUT got a freekick which was hit by Serginho França. Naldo Vale sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 74 minutes of play, Dunas SC's Luizinho Aparecido made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Rafa Azevedo was left in no man's land by his defense there! Naldo Vale recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 78th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Fábio Tande was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 87 minutes had been played. Fábio Tande kicked well hit freekick during the 88th minute of the match. Leandro Marinho showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rubens de Brito, who was totally free with the ball in the 89th minute. Dida Barros charged in rather forcefully in the 93rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Dida Barros the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Dida Barros sent away a hard shot on goal in the 97th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
