The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Valdemar Brito kicked well hit freekick during the 3rd minute of the match. After recieving a nice pass, Pé Frio F.C.'s Ademir Da Guía tried to score from far away in the 4th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. 6 minutes into the match, Pedrinho Berger had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Michal Dziewedik. Pé Frio F.C.'s manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Pedrinho Berger was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tim Maia in the 12th minute of play forced Aces In Exile's goalkeeper Afonso Dias to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Afonso Dias showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tim Maia in the 18th minute of the match. Tim Maia struck a weak shot in the 23rd minute. Afonso Dias didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Pé Frio F.C.. The supporters of Pé Frio F.C. booed when Aces In Exile was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 30 match minutes in a wonderful position. Pedrinho Berger didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 32nd minute, Gil de Barros managed to get in a good position for a shot. Pé Frio F.C.'s supporters rose to their feet, but Gil de Barros was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Afonso Dias breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tim Maia in the 35th minute of play forced Aces In Exile's goalkeeper Afonso Dias to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Gil de Barros had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Afonso Dias made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tim Maia in the 39th minute of play. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Pé Frio F.C.'s Michal Dziewedik played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pedrinho Berger in the 51st minute of play. In the 57th minute, Pedrinho Berger made a precise shot to the right of Michal Dziewedik. Pé Frio F.C.'s defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-1. In the 62nd minute, Pedrinho Berger left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Aces In Exile fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-1. 65 minutes into the match, Luiz Eduardo da Rocha notched a goal, 4-1, to the right of Pé Frio F.C.'s Michal Dziewedik. Michal Dziewedik was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Afonso Dias didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Tim Maia went, in the 71st minute, to the upper right corner, 4-2 was the resulting score. The supporters of Pé Frio F.C. booed when Aces In Exile was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 78 match minutes in a wonderful position. Luiz Eduardo da Rocha didn't get a good kick on the ball. Pedrinho Berger fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Michal Dziewedik having to interfere. Afonso Dias made a fantastic save in the 88th minute, when Tim Maia sent off a good shot on target. Gil de Barros might have been able to make a better finish in the 92nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Afonso Dias. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Gil de Barros ran back to his position shaking his head. Pé Frio F.C.'s players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
