A very good chance. Patrick Miranda showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Délio Tavares in the 14th minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Délio Tavares in the 16th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Patrick Miranda saved Celeste FC from getting behind. The referee felt a red card was in order, 18 minutes into the game, when Dráuzio Maia put in a rough tackle. Hélio Carneiro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Wilson Custódio, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. Fabiano Garcia recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 30th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Fabiano Garcia was extremely unlucky when he, in the 33rd minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Roberto Urbano hit a great freekick 33 minutes into the match. In the 36th minute, César Peres got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Délio Tavares recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 37th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 48th minute, Cláudio Silveira managed to get in a good position for a shot. Juventus Futsal's supporters rose to their feet, but Cláudio Silveira was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Patrick Miranda breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Gino Loureiro stepped up to make the kick off in the second half.
