When Frederico Baptista fell near the penalty area in the 32nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored NANA Futebol Clube's protests and gave Frederico Baptista a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to NANA Futebol Clube getting a freekick after 32 minutes play. Aracuai SS were furious when Anderson Mota was red carded, 40 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests.
