After having played for 7 minutes, Marcel Tasso managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Cambuci's supporters crossed their fingers, but Marcel Tasso was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Diego do Vale blasted a shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Luiz Gustavo Zonta having to make a save. Marcel Tasso fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gualter de Lima having to interfere. Frank de Alcântara recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 22nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Marcel Tasso sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Haudax booed when Cambuci was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 25 match minutes in a wonderful position. Serafim de Sena didn't get a good kick on the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Sílvio Luís Brito during the 29th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Marcel Tasso made a kick off. After 71 minutes, Júlio Breckenfeld mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Haudax and the Cambuci players grew even worse after the yellow card. There was no doubt that Cambuci were the better team. Cambuci's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
