Spectators: 7115 (Terracing: 5446, Seating: 1669, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Flávio Aparecido started the match with the kick off. Almir Melo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 3rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 7 minutes, Dé Maia mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Uari AD and the Supernova AD players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 7 played minutes Uari AD got a freekick which was hit by Dé Maia. Gilvan Batista struck a weak shot in the 10th minute. Carlos Alberto Gonçalves didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Supernova AD. In the 10th match minute, Uari AD was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lucas do Valle to maneuver through the defense. After 19 minutes, Gilvan Batista mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Supernova AD and the Uari AD players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Uari AD booed when Supernova AD was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 19 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gilvan Batista didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, Uari AD's Iuri Dionísio got a free kick in the 25th minute. If Flávio Aparecido had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Gilvan Batista hit a great freekick 30 minutes into the match. Marcos Tasso took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Almir Melo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpected shot in the 36th minute by Almir Melo got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Dé Maia's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 41stth minute, Marcos Tasso skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Uari AD's Carlos Alberto Gonçalves played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Flávio Aparecido in the 44th minute of play. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Almir Melo made a kick off. Supernova AD's Marcos Tasso played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Iuri Dionísio in the 53rd minute of play. 61 minutes into the match, Uari AD's goalkeeper Carlos Alberto Gonçalves had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Olívio de Carvalho. Olívio de Carvalho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Carlos Alberto Gonçalves having to interfere. Flávio Aparecido received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 68th minute. Carlos Alberto Gonçalves tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 70th minute, Flávio Aparecido fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Olívio de Carvalho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Marcos Tasso showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
