Flávio Carioca kicked well hit freekick during the 9th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, AKAI FC's Caetano Domingues got a free kick in the 16th minute. Chico Camargo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Leonardo Lima, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. The audience cheered when Martin Maxwell's long shot passed Chico Camargo's right side. It was 0-1, 20 minutes into the match. In the 25th minute of the match, Abel Coelho got a very nice opportunity to score, but Alfredão Arruda was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. After 25 played minutes Abel Coelho rounded Malvadão AC's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 1-1. Chico Camargo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Warren Metzger in the 29th minute of the match. Chico Camargo didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Warren Metzger went, in the 35th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. AKAI FC's Chico Camargo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Leonardo Lima in the 41st minute of play. Chico Camargo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eugênio Félix in the 43rd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Warren Metzger in the 45th minute of play forced AKAI FC's goalkeeper Chico Camargo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The Malvadão AC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-3. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-3 lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Warren Metzger made a kick off. The throw-in from Leonardo Goiano in the 55th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by AKAI FC's Bebeto Mineiro. AKAI FC's Chico Camargo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Warren Metzger in the 58th minute of play. Leonardo Lima came free with the goalkeeper in the 62nd minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Chico Camargo could save by the left post. In the 62nd minute, Caetano Domingues hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Warren Metzger sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 69 minutes into the match, Leonardo Lima had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Chico Camargo. AKAI FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Leonardo Lima was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-4.
