After a rather tough play, Taperoa's Pedro Trancoso got a free kick in the 32nd minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 34th minute, Daniel Godoi managed to get in a good position for a shot. Illuminati FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Daniel Godoi was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Nilton Oliveira to make the kick off. 55 minutes into the game, Nilton Oliveira recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Válter Meira. The referee ignored Illuminati FC's protests and gave Daniel Godoi a yellow card for diving instead. Válter Meira made a fantastic save in the 82nd minute, when Benjamin Costa sent off a good shot on target.
