An unexpectedly hard shot by Hermínio Monteiro in the 9th minute of play forced Clube Atlético Serrano's goalkeeper Leonel Fernandes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 12th minute, Enio Medeiros got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Rogério Motta struck a weak shot in the 23rd minute. Adrianinho Vides didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Clube Atlético Serrano. After a rather tough play, Bacada's Enio Medeiros got a free kick in the 24th minute. Rogério Motta fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Adrianinho Vides having to interfere. Adrianinho Vides was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Rogério Motta showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-0 in the 28 minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 31st minute, Rogério Motta managed to get in a good position for a shot. Clube Atlético Serrano's supporters rose to their feet, but Rogério Motta was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Adrianinho Vides breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 38 minutes into the match, Bacada's goal looked a bit too open when Rogério Motta came free, but Adrianinho Vides reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Bacada's Adrianinho Vides proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 40th minute of the match, managed to save Bacada from getting a goal against them. After some fancy dribbling in the 41st minute, Enio Medeiros managed to get in a good position for a shot. Bacada's supporters rose to their feet, but Enio Medeiros was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. A very good chance. Enio Medeiros might have been able to make a better finish in the 47th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Leonel Fernandes. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Enio Medeiros ran back to his position shaking his head. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Rogério Motta made a kick off. In the 53rd minute, Enio Medeiros got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Erasmo Ramalho kicked well hit freekick during the 55th minute of the match. 59 minutes into the match, Enio Medeiros had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Leonel Fernandes. Clube Atlético Serrano's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Enio Medeiros was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. Bacada's Enio Medeiros got a good chance for a goal in the 62nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Leonel Fernandes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dedé do Valle in the 64th minute of the match. If Christiano Mendonça had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 76 minutes into the match, Bacada's goal looked a bit too open when Rogério Motta came free, but Adrianinho Vides reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 84 minutes of play, Bacada's Enio Medeiros made it 2-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net.
