Diguinho Guedes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Frank Breckenfeld in the 4th minute of the match. A collision led to Itapevi getting a freekick after 5 minutes play. Zeca Freire hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Frank Breckenfeld in the 9th minute of play forced Itapevi's goalkeeper Diguinho Guedes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Frank Breckenfeld received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 10th minute. Diguinho Guedes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the match had gone on for 12 minutes, Leonardo Montenegro put it in 0-1 from a short distance just to the right of Diguinho Guedes. After having played for 15 minutes, Dé Veloso managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Itapevi's supporters crossed their fingers, but Dé Veloso was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Sidney Silveira's late challenge caught a Itapevi's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Sidney Silveira helped the player get up and apologised. Sidney Silveira hit a great freekick 18 minutes into the match. 24 minutes into the game, Concórdia Atlético Clube's Frank Breckenfeld nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Diguinho Guedes made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. With a little luck, Concórdia Atlético Clube's Cristóvão Valladares got control of the ball when Dé Veloso tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 28th minute, Itapevi's Dé Veloso dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-2. After having played for 34 minutes, Rony Vasconcelos managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Itapevi's supporters crossed their fingers, but Rony Vasconcelos was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Dé Veloso struck a weak shot in the 38th minute. Cristóvão Valladares didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Itapevi. Cristóvão Valladares showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rony Vasconcelos, who was totally free with the ball in the 41st minute. Dé Veloso sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 47th minute Rony Vasconcelos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cristóvão Valladares saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-2.

The wind increased when Rony Vasconcelos made the kick off in the second half. After a defensive mix-up in Itapevi's zone, Frank Breckenfeld stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Diguinho Guedes came out of the goal and Frank Breckenfeld tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Rony Vasconcelos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Cristóvão Valladares came out of the goal in the 62nd minute to try and stop a shot by Itapevi's Rony Vasconcelos. But to his dismay, Rony Vasconcelos quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-2. In the 66th minute Frank Breckenfeld shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Diguinho Guedes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Concórdia Atlético Clube's Cristóvão Valladares played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Basílio Pitta in the 68th minute of play. 69 minutes into the match, Concórdia Atlético Clube's Frank Breckenfeld sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Diguinho Guedes narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Leonardo Montenegro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Diguinho Guedes having to interfere. It was a penalty for Itapevi! In the 83rd minute there was a penalty for Concórdia Atlético Clube. Humberto Favoretto stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Diguinho Guedes. 2-3. Frank Breckenfeld struck a weak shot in the 90th minute. Diguinho Guedes didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Concórdia Atlético Clube. Cristóvão Valladares took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dé Veloso, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Concórdia Atlético Clube walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
