Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Cícero Veloso kicked off to start the match. In the 4th minute Kaká Valle shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Raimundo Almeida saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 6thth minute of the game Chicão Vasconcelos who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Rueiros's Raimundo Almeida was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 7th minute, Murillo da Costa got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 28th match minute, Pepital was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Chicão Vasconcelos to maneuver through the defense. Cícero Veloso received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. Emanuel Dante tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 36th minute, Waldir Proença hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Cícero Veloso fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Emanuel Dante having to interfere. Emanuel Dante took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Yuri Baptista, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Chicão Vasconcelos came up free with the goalie in the 43rd minute, the Pepital fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Chicão Vasconcelos couldn't finish the play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Chicão Vasconcelos got free with Raimundo Almeida in the 45th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Raimundo Almeida showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Chicão Vasconcelos, who was totally free with the ball in the 47th minute. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Chicão Vasconcelos stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Murillo da Costa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After 55 minutes of play, Pepital's Murillo da Costa made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Raimundo Almeida was left in no man's land by his defense there! Chicão Vasconcelos blasted a shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Raimundo Almeida having to make a save. Raimundo Almeida showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kaká Valle in the 59th minute of the match. Cláudio Dionísio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Chicão Vasconcelos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 67th minute. Raimundo Almeida tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 70th minute there was a penalty for Pepital. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by William Borges during the 90th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. William Borges kicked well hit freekick during the 90th minute of the match. The supporters of Pepital booed when Rueiros was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 93 match minutes in a wonderful position. Manoel de Sousa didn't get a good kick on the ball. Chicão Vasconcelos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 95th minute. Raimundo Almeida tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Pepital's Chicão Vasconcelos in the 97th minute got a chance for a shot 97th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie.
