The audience thought a goal was coming when Mateus Lira got free with Lucas Sousa in the 18th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. With an all-out effort, Wêslley's Lucas Sousa threw himself towards the right post 26 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Kléberson Azevedo, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Leonardo Terra hit a great freekick 26 minutes into the match. If Vladimir Loyola had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Marcel Tróia received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 29th minute. Antônio Hoffmann tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Vladimir Loyola succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 2-0 in the 34th playminute. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-0.

Antônio Hoffmann didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Peaky Blinders FC. 65 minutes into the match, Peaky Blinders FC's goal looked a bit too open when Vladimir Loyola came free, but Lucas Sousa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Lucas Sousa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kléberson Azevedo, who was totally free with the ball in the 70th minute. In the 72ndth minute of the game Kléberson Azevedo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Peaky Blinders FC's Lucas Sousa was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Antônio Hoffmann made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-1. Vladimir Loyola received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 79th minute. When the match had gone on for 96 minutes, Tomé Loyola put it in 4-1 from a short distance just to the right of Lucas Sousa. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Wêslley fans cheered their team off the field, for while Peaky Blinders FC had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
