The Da Vinci FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Régis Chaves should have stopped the shot. Carlos Fernando Rezende hit a great freekick 16 minutes into the match. Da Vinci FC's Tomás Palmeira got a good chance for a goal in the 17th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Michel Paraíba sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Zézinho Seco kicked well hit freekick during the 34th minute of the match. Raphael Varela's late challenge caught a Galáticos MZ's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Michel Paraíba stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 53 minutes had been played when some careless play by Galáticos MZ's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Tomás Palmeira was slow to take the kick. During this time Da Vinci FC's players had a chance to rest. In the 56th minute, Zézinho Seco hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Michel Paraíba in the 57th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ignacy Glogowski saved Galáticos MZ from getting behind. Michel Paraíba recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 59th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Régis Chaves made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zézinho Seco in the 61st minute of play. When Michel Paraíba came up free with the goalie in the 62nd minute, the Da Vinci FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Michel Paraíba couldn't finish the play. Ignacy Glogowski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Michel Paraíba, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 70th minute, Baltazar Maranhense hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 73 minutes into the game, Alexandre Rodrigues recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Régis Chaves. Alexandre Rodrigues showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-2. Régis Chaves showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zézinho Seco in the 76th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Zézinho Seco in the 84th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Régis Chaves prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 88 played minutes Da Vinci FC got a freekick which was hit by César Britto. Zézinho Seco sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Dino Gaspar kicked well hit freekick during the 94th minute of the match.
