Spectators: 6954 (Terracing: 5454, Seating: 1500, VIP seats: 0) 3 minutes into the match, EC Zamboni's goalkeeper Cláudio Zanette had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Adhemar Mendes. Carlos Augusto Mumbach fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 4th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cláudio Zanette having to interfere. Hortêncio Amorim made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Noel Pitta in the 8th minute of play. With his leg Cláudio Zanette managed to avoid a goal in the 10thth minute, when Joga 10's Adhemar Mendes fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Adhemar Mendes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 12th minute. Cláudio Zanette tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 14th minute, Adhemar Mendes managed to get in a good position for a shot. Joga 10's supporters rose to their feet, but Adhemar Mendes was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Cláudio Zanette breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Noel Pitta struck a weak shot in the 18th minute. Hortêncio Amorim didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for EC Zamboni. Matheus Linhares sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Adhemar Mendes had several of the EC Zamboni's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 26 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 1-0 score and a disappointed Cláudio Zanette as he didn't even see the shot coming. Cláudio Zanette made an important save on a dangerous shot by Adhemar Mendes in the 32nd minute. Adhemar Mendes who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 35thth minute tested the skills of Cláudio Zanette when he managed to save the team from getting behind. In the 36th play minute Adhemar Mendes came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Cláudio Zanette. 2-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Adhemar Mendes to make the kick off. In the 54th minute Carlos Augusto Mumbach shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cláudio Zanette saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Noel Pitta fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hortêncio Amorim having to interfere. Cláudio Zanette showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Carlos Augusto Mumbach, who was totally free with the ball in the 63rd minute. The supporters of EC Zamboni booed when Joga 10 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 64 match minutes in a wonderful position. Samuel Leme didn't get a good kick on the ball. EC Zamboni's Arlindo Cunha shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 66th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Hortêncio Amorim but with some difficulty. Cláudio Zanette made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Adhemar Mendes in the 69th minute of play. Elias de Andrade's late challenge caught a Joga 10's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Elias de Andrade helped the player get up and apologised. In the 71st minute, Elias de Andrade hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Joga 10's Adhemar Mendes in the 74th minute got a chance for a shot 74th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye EC Zamboni's goalie prevented a goal. If Adhemar Mendes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Adhemar Mendes's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Cláudio Zanette read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 80th minute of play. Adhemar Mendes struck a weak shot in the 82nd minute. Cláudio Zanette didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Joga 10. Cláudio Zanette took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Adhemar Mendes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After having played for 85 minutes, Adhemar Mendes managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Joga 10's supporters crossed their fingers, but Adhemar Mendes was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Ramiro de Carvalho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Hortêncio Amorim made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rafa Sergipano in the 89th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Adhemar Mendes in the 93rd minute of play forced EC Zamboni's goalkeeper Cláudio Zanette to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 93 minutes into the game, Adhemar Mendes cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-0. Cláudio Zanette was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Matheus Linhares kicked well hit freekick during the 96th minute of the match.
