Jairo da Silveira fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Betinho Queirós having to interfere. Claudinho Andrade sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Betinho Queirós took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jairo da Silveira, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.

With a little luck, Ji-Paraná FC's Betinho Queirós got control of the ball when Claudinho Andrade tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 93 played minutes Ji-Paraná FC got a freekick which was hit by Manuel Saldanha. The The Joker fans' excitement grew in the 94th match minute when The Joker's Claudinho Andrade looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. The Ji-Paraná FC supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching The Joker's performance. The match ended with a win for The Joker.
