Marcianos F.C.'s Roberto Souza proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 45th minute of the match, managed to save Marcianos F.C. from getting a goal against them.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Dráuzio Valadares was the one to do the kick off. Adriano Pinheiro dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. In the 72nd minute, Pedrinho Pires ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Adriano Pinheiro was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. Jeferson Zanette fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Roberto Souza having to interfere. Roberto Souza showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jeferson Zanette, who was totally free with the ball in the 82nd minute. Roberto Souza showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Waldir Arruda in the 94th minute of the match. Dráuzio Valadares might have been able to make a better finish in the 95th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Adriano Pinheiro. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Dráuzio Valadares ran back to his position shaking his head. Roberto Souza made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dedé Fantini in the 98th minute of play.
