The supporters of Culés booed when Itatira SC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 32 match minutes in a wonderful position. Natanael Batista didn't get a good kick on the ball. Miguel Medeiros took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Zé Pedro Dionísio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Samuel Schmidt came free with the goalkeeper in the 37th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Miguel Medeiros could save by the left post. The supporters of Culés booed when Itatira SC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 40 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dráusio Almeida didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 40th minute, Benjamin Alves sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Itatira SC's Miguel Medeiros didn't even have to move. Samuel Schmidt fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Miguel Medeiros having to interfere. Miguel Medeiros made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Benjamin Alves in the 46th minute of play.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Natanael Batista stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Miguel Medeiros showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Benjamin Alves in the 53rd minute of the match. Otávio Gerber took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Vânderson Alves, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 56 minutes Culés's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was José Paulo Maia who took care of the corner kick. After taking down the ball on Itatira SC's corner José Paulo Maia fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Otávio Gerber quite easily take care of the ball. Yan Duarte fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Miguel Medeiros having to interfere. In the 60th match minute, Culés was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nicolas Meireles to maneuver through the defense. Itatira SC's Miguel Medeiros played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Romeu Carneiro in the 62nd minute of play. Miguel Medeiros was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Miguel Medeiros came out of the goal in the 75th minute to try and stop a shot by Culés's Samuel Schmidt. But to his dismay, Samuel Schmidt quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. The audience was convinced that Yan Duarte's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Miguel Medeiros was relentless in the 83rd minute of the game. Culés's Otávio Gerber proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 84th minute of the match, managed to save Culés from getting a goal against them. Itatira SC were furious when Rodrigo Abraão was red carded, 89 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. After 90 played minutes Itatira SC got a freekick which was hit by Rodrigo Abraão. The audience was convinced that Yan Duarte's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Miguel Medeiros was relentless in the 93rd minute of the game. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Culés fully deserved thier win.
