Itatira SC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Laércio Novaes was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. Miguel Medeiros took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alessandro Moreira, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Giovani Moura fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Miguel Medeiros having to interfere. Vânderson Alves hit a great ball. A sloppy throw-in by José Paulo Maia in the 92nd minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Remansu's Afonso Arruda. Remansu's Giovani Moura was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 93rd play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal.
