Spectators: 6644 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1500, VIP seats: 144) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Hílton Almeida took the kick off in the first half of the match. In the 4thth minute of the game Hílton Almeida who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but East Tower United's Jarbas Sá was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 9 minutes into the match, Curipi SS's goal looked a bit too open when Álvaro Neves came free, but Dino Bastos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Hílton Almeida received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 15th minute. Jarbas Sá tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nelson do Vale in the 19th minute of play forced Curipi SS's goalkeeper Dino Bastos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The throw-in from Dida das Neves in the 21st minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Curipi SS's Christian Gomes. In the 22nd minute, Cleiton Bastos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Gilberto Ortiz hit a great freekick 26 minutes into the match. Jarbas Sá made a fantastic save in the 29th minute, when Cleiton Bastos sent off a good shot on target. 30 minutes into the game, Cafu de Queiroz was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Curipi SS's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave East Tower United the free kick. In the 30th match minute, Curipi SS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cafu de Queiroz to maneuver through the defense. Álvaro Neves's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Dino Bastos read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 33rd minute of play. José Carlos Brito thought of kicking away a contribution in front of goal but messed it up so badly that the ball went to the right of an astonished Jarbas Sá, a very annoying self made goal in the 36th minute which led to 1-1. 41 minutes into the match, Curipi SS's Cleiton Bastos sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jarbas Sá narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Curipi SS's Claudinei Sousa got a free kick in the 47th minute.

The wind increased when Álvaro Neves made the kick off in the second half. Claudinei Sousa hit a great freekick 52 minutes into the match. In the 53rd minute, East Tower United's Álvaro Neves ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Dino Bastos. Dino Bastos yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-2. If Hílton Almeida had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, East Tower United's Clóvis Salles got a free kick in the 59th minute. In the 62nd match minute, East Tower United was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Armando Arantes to maneuver through the defense. After 65 minutes East Tower United's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Eliseu Netto who took care of the corner kick. A well done corner resulted in Christian Gomes drilling the ball in to score 2-2 behind East Tower United's goalkeeper. Nelson do Vale who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 72ndth minute tested the skills of Dino Bastos when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Eliseu Netto struck a weak shot in the 79th minute. Jarbas Sá didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Curipi SS. Jarbas Sá showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eliseu Netto in the 81st minute of the match. A collision led to East Tower United getting a freekick after 82 minutes play. Armando Arantes hit a great ball. Hílton Almeida recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 85th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Hílton Almeida had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jarbas Sá made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cleiton Bastos in the 94th minute of play. Thanks to some nice moves Nelson do Vale could shoot a difficult shot in the 96th minute, which Dino Bastos however easily saved by the left post. Curipi SS were disappointed that they only managed a draw, even though they felt themselves to be the better team.
