Villar Real's Alexsandro Secco got a good chance for a goal in the 4th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. A collision led to G3nerationX getting a freekick after 6 minutes play. Eugênio Arruda hit a great ball. Armando Andrade received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 9th minute. Alford Maciver tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The G3nerationX fans' excitement grew in the 10th match minute when G3nerationX's Denílson Varela looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Villar Real's Alford Maciver played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Denílson Varela in the 13th minute of play. In the 15th minute, Alexsandro Secco reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Franklin Pirani. The goal made the score 1-1. In the 22nd minute, Eugênio Arruda ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Alford Maciver was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. Denílson Varela fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alford Maciver having to interfere. In the 29thth minute of the game Denílson Varela who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Villar Real's Alford Maciver was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The supporters of G3nerationX booed when Villar Real was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 30 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aristides Gaizkine didn't get a good kick on the ball. Denílson Varela took the ball and in the 38 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Alford Maciver. Alford Maciver dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-3. Rodrigo Bittencourt hit a great freekick 41 minutes into the match. Denílson Varela sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The Villar Real players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. G3nerationX were winning 1-3.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Denílson Varela to make the kick off. 53 minutes into the game, Villar Real's Alexsandro Secco nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Franklin Pirani made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-3. In the 56th match minute, G3nerationX was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eugênio Arruda to maneuver through the defense. 58 minutes into the game, Villar Real's Luizão Bueno nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Franklin Pirani made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-3. 62 minutes into the match, G3nerationX's goal looked a bit too open when Alexsandro Secco came free, but Franklin Pirani reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 62nd minute, Nilson de Amaral hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Denílson Varela in the 65th minute of play forced Villar Real's goalkeeper Alford Maciver to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Villar Real's zone, Frederico Guimarães stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Alford Maciver came out of the goal and Frederico Guimarães tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Eugênio Arruda took the ball and in the 69 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Alford Maciver. Alford Maciver dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-4. 75 minutes into the match, Villar Real's goalkeeper Alford Maciver had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Denílson Varela. When Nilson de Amaral fell near the penalty area in the 77th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored G3nerationX's protests and gave Nilson de Amaral a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to G3nerationX getting a freekick after 77 minutes play. Nilson de Amaral hit a great ball. In the 82nd minute, Alexsandro Secco left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Villar Real fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-4. Armando Andrade recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 88th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Fernandinho Meira came up free with the goalie in the 90th minute, the Villar Real fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Fernandinho Meira couldn't finish the play.
