Spectators: 6653 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1653, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when João Augusto de Carvalho kicked off to start the match. The supporters of Real Catarinense booed when Geada SS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 4 match minutes in a wonderful position. Evandro Godoi didn't get a good kick on the ball. Toader Grigore made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from João Augusto de Carvalho in the 7th minute of play. In the 8th minute, Geada SS's João Augusto de Carvalho dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. In the 13th minute, Evandro Godoi left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Geada SS fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. Paulo Catarinense kicked well hit freekick during the 16th minute of the match. Fernandão da Silva's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Hílton Magalhães read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 17th minute of play. Real Catarinense's Toader Grigore played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by João Augusto de Carvalho in the 20th minute of play. Cristiano Camargo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hílton Magalhães having to interfere. Humberto Fantini scored 3-1 in the 38th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Hílton Magalhães, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Toader Grigore made a fantastic save in the 41st minute, when Evandro Godoi sent off a good shot on target. Leandro Mendes kicked well hit freekick during the 45th minute of the match. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Humberto Fantini stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd match minute, Real Catarinense was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Edmílson Jacinto to maneuver through the defense. In the 57th minute João Augusto de Carvalho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Toader Grigore saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Real Catarinense's Toader Grigore played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by João Augusto de Carvalho in the 63rd minute of play. In the 65th minute, João Augusto de Carvalho ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Toader Grigore was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-1. Toader Grigore took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from João Augusto de Carvalho, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 73 minutes into the game, Evandro Godoi cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 5-1. Toader Grigore was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After a defensive mix-up in Geada SS's zone, Humberto Fantini stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Hílton Magalhães came out of the goal and Humberto Fantini tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 92nd minute, Cristiano Camargo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Real Catarinense's supporters rose to their feet, but Cristiano Camargo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Hílton Magalhães breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Geada SS had won after a very even match.
