Spectators: 6640 (Terracing: 5483, Seating: 1150, VIP seats: 7) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Cristóvão Pires kicked off to start the match. 4 minutes into the match, Enrique Matos notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Greenback Boogie SC's Hortêncio Zanette. Hortêncio Zanette was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. When Enrique Matos came up free with the goalie in the 8th minute, the Ravenclaw F. C. fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Enrique Matos couldn't finish the play. In the 13th minute, André Taffarel hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Cristóvão Pires recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 17th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Hortêncio Zanette showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Enrique Matos, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. Hortêncio Zanette took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Enrique Matos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 25 minutes into the game, Ravenclaw F. C.'s André Taffarel nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Hortêncio Zanette made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. The supporters of Ravenclaw F. C. booed when Greenback Boogie SC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 27 match minutes in a wonderful position. Olívio Braga didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 28th minute Enrique Matos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hortêncio Zanette saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Waldir Arantes hit a great freekick 29 minutes into the match. If Enrique Matos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Kléberson Ortiz took the ball and in the 38 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Hortêncio Zanette. Hortêncio Zanette dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. In the 44th minute Enrique Matos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hortêncio Zanette saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-3 lead.

André Taffarel hit a great freekick 54 minutes into the match. Enrique Matos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Greenback Boogie SC's Hortêncio Zanette played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kléberson Ortiz in the 58th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Greenback Boogie SC's Waldir Arantes got a free kick in the 63rd minute. Greenback Boogie SC's Hortêncio Zanette proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 64th minute of the match, managed to save Greenback Boogie SC from getting a goal against them. When Greenback Boogie SC's Cristóvão Pires in the 65th minute got a chance for a shot 65th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Ravenclaw F. C.'s goalie prevented a goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Enrique Matos in the 68th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Hortêncio Zanette saved Greenback Boogie SC from getting behind. Cristóvão Pires fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Remo Prestes having to interfere. Enrique Matos struck a weak shot in the 73rd minute. Hortêncio Zanette didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ravenclaw F. C.. 75 minutes into the game, Luís Eduardo Ferreira was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Ravenclaw F. C.'s manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Greenback Boogie SC the free kick. The supporters of Greenback Boogie SC booed when Ravenclaw F. C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 75 match minutes in a wonderful position. Luís Eduardo Ferreira didn't get a good kick on the ball. Delfim Lucas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Remo Prestes having to interfere. Hortêncio Zanette was out of position in the 81 minute of play, and Enrique Matos capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Enrique Matos really showed his touch with that goal: 0-4. The audience was convinced that Enrique Matos's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Hortêncio Zanette was relentless in the 85th minute of the game. If Enrique Matos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee felt a red card was in order, 91 minutes into the game, when Fiori Cerezo put in a rough tackle. In a very dangerous position, a player in Greenback Boogie SC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 91st minute. Penalty! 96 minutes into the game, Luís Eduardo Ferreira recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Hortêncio Zanette. Luís Eduardo Ferreira showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-6. The Ravenclaw F. C. supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Ravenclaw F. C. would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
