After a defensive mix-up in MelissaMel's zone, Laércio de Queirós stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Edvaldo Salles came out of the goal and Laércio de Queirós tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Edvaldo Salles showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Pedro Augusto Tande, who was totally free with the ball in the 13th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 14th minute, Laércio de Queirós managed to get in a good position for a shot. Agnelo FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Laércio de Queirós was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Edvaldo Salles breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 17 minutes, Danilo Moraes mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Agnelo FC and the MelissaMel players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of MelissaMel booed when Agnelo FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 17 match minutes in a wonderful position. Danilo Moraes didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Laércio de Queirós in the 41st minute of play forced MelissaMel's goalkeeper Edvaldo Salles to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. MelissaMel's supporters crossed their fingers, but Rodrigo Reis was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Dino do Valle scored 1-2 in the 82nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Giovanni Maciel, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After 86 minutes of play, Agnelo FC's Pedro Augusto Tande made it 2-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Edvaldo Salles was left in no man's land by his defense there! After 91 minutes, Geovani Donato mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Agnelo FC and the MelissaMel players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Agnelo FC's Geovani Donato got a free kick in the 91st minute. Rodrigo Reis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Giovanni Maciel having to interfere. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
