Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Reginaldo Netto took the kick off in the first half of the match. Victor Carioca struck a weak shot in the 7th minute. Elano Lopez didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Hakuna Matata. After having played for 9 minutes, Erik de Andrade managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Hakuna Matata's supporters crossed their fingers, but Erik de Andrade was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Victor Carioca came up free with the goalie in the 10th minute, the Hakuna Matata fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Victor Carioca couldn't finish the play. Reginaldo Netto sent away a hard shot on goal in the 13th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Hakuna Matata's Erik de Andrade in the 22nd minute got a chance for a shot 22nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Alex Prata hit a great freekick 43 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in Hakuna Matata's zone, Ian Quintal stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Franklin da Cunha came out of the goal and Ian Quintal tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ulysses Marques hit a great freekick 46 minutes into the match. Ian Quintal fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 48th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Franklin da Cunha having to interfere. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Erik de Andrade to strike the kick off in the second half. Abadia SS's Elano Lopez played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Erik de Andrade in the 52nd minute of play. In the 53rd minute, Caco Moreira hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Victor Carioca received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. Elano Lopez tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Erik de Andrade sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 59 minutes into the game, Victor Carioca cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Elano Lopez was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Victor Carioca sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Luizão de Carvalho kicked well hit freekick during the 70th minute of the match. Reginaldo Netto had several of the Hakuna Matata's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 71 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 1-1 score and a disappointed Franklin da Cunha as he didn't even see the shot coming. Franklin da Cunha stood somewhat misplaced when Reginaldo Netto came free in front of goal and shot 1-2 to the left of him in the 78 minute. Reginaldo Netto fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Franklin da Cunha having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Reginaldo Netto in the 90th minute of play forced Hakuna Matata's goalkeeper Franklin da Cunha to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 91 played minutes Hakuna Matata got a freekick which was hit by Luizão de Carvalho. Franklin da Cunha acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 92nd minute, took the ball on the long shot from Paulo Renato de Amorim. Franklin da Cunha showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Reginaldo Netto in the 93rd minute of the match. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Abadia SS eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
