When Raimundo Damião fell near the penalty area in the 34th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Sapopema's protests and gave Raimundo Damião a yellow card for diving instead. The Caruara SS fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-2. The Sapopema players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented Caruara SS from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
