Spectators: 7000 (Terracing: 5400, Seating: 1550, VIP seats: 50) fuziu's Geraldo Sergipano started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Dalmo Salles took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dito Rosa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Luís Gustavo Chaves received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 5th minute. Nando Tepedino tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Dito Rosa's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Dalmo Salles read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 6th minute of play. In the 10th minute, Geraldo Sergipano left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The fuziu fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. In the 16th match minute, Secura was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Valdomiro Palmeira to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to fuziu getting a freekick after 20 minutes play. Luisinho Simões hit a great ball. Luís Gustavo Chaves received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 24th minute. Nando Tepedino tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Iuri de Medeiros kicked well hit freekick during the 34th minute of the match. Dito Rosa blasted a shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Dalmo Salles having to make a save. In the 41st minute of the match Fiori Tepedino shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Dalmo Salles showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 47th minute, Luís Gustavo Chaves left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Secura fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The wind increased when Hudson Silveira made the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, Secura's Claudinho Amaral got a free kick in the 56th minute. When Dito Rosa came up free with the goalie in the 59th minute, the fuziu fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Dito Rosa couldn't finish the play. If Geraldo Sergipano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Geraldo Sergipano scored 1-2 in the 62nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Dalmo Salles, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Dito Rosa might have been able to make a better finish in the 65th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Dalmo Salles. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Dito Rosa ran back to his position shaking his head. Júnior Quintal charged in rather forcefully in the 78th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Júnior Quintal the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to fuziu getting a freekick after 78 minutes play. Júnior Quintal hit a great ball. After 86 minutes, Elder Bastos mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Secura and the fuziu players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 86 played minutes Secura got a freekick which was hit by Elder Bastos. Dito Rosa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 88th minute. Dalmo Salles tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a little luck, Secura's Dalmo Salles got control of the ball when Geraldo Sergipano tried to sneak it across the goal line. When the final whistle sounded fuziu left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Secura.
