Spectators: 7286 (Terracing: 5467, Seating: 1675, VIP seats: 144) Sirius's Sílvio Messias started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 5th minute, Emerson de Moraes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Noel Neiva showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Murilo Santana, who was totally free with the ball in the 7th minute. In the 10th play minute Emerson de Moraes came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Noel Neiva. 1-0. In the 12th minute, Emerson de Moraes reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Noel Neiva. The goal made the score 2-0. Emerson de Moraes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 15th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Murilo Santana came up free with the goalie in the 30th minute, the Pensamento fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Murilo Santana couldn't finish the play. Emerson de Moraes recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 34th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Emerson de Moraess short, quick shot in the 36thth minute got Noel Neiva to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. When Emerson de Moraes came up free with the goalie in the 38th minute, the Pensamento fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Emerson de Moraes couldn't finish the play. Noel Neiva came out of the goal in the 39th minute to try and stop a shot by Pensamento's Frederico Branco. But to his dismay, Frederico Branco quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. 43 minutes into the match, Sirius's goalkeeper Noel Neiva had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Emerson de Moraes. Raúl Mandrak's late challenge caught a Pensamento's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Raúl Mandrak helped the player get up and apologised. In the 45th match minute, Sirius was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Raúl Mandrak to maneuver through the defense.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Emerson de Moraes stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the match, Emerson de Moraes notched a goal, 4-0, to the right of Sirius's Noel Neiva. Noel Neiva was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The audience was convinced that Murilo Santana's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Noel Neiva was relentless in the 55th minute of the game. 58 minutes into the match, Sirius's goal looked a bit too open when Emerson de Moraes came free, but Noel Neiva reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Pensamento's Emerson de Moraes got a good chance for a goal in the 60th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Noel Neiva showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Emerson de Moraes in the 64th minute of the match. Pensamento's Celsinho Rodrigues got a good chance for a goal in the 65th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Sirius's zone, Emerson de Moraes stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Noel Neiva came out of the goal and Emerson de Moraes tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Sílvio Messias kicked well hit freekick during the 68th minute of the match. Noel Neiva came out of the goal in the 72nd minute to try and stop a shot by Pensamento's Celsinho Rodrigues. But to his dismay, Celsinho Rodrigues quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-0. When the match clock showed 77 minutes, the score became 6-0 when Murilo Santana sped through Sirius's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Noel Neiva. Noel Neiva came out of the goal in the 82nd minute to try and stop a shot by Pensamento's Frederico Branco. But to his dismay, Frederico Branco quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 7-0. Noel Neiva showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Emerson de Moraes, who was totally free with the ball in the 85th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Murilo Santana in the 87th minute of play forced Sirius's goalkeeper Noel Neiva to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 92nd minute Emerson de Moraes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Noel Neiva saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 93rd minute, Gernando Trevisan managed to get in a good position for a shot. Pensamento's supporters rose to their feet, but Gernando Trevisan was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Noel Neiva breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Pensamento's Emerson de Moraes got a good chance for a goal in the 94th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 94th minute Emerson de Moraes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Noel Neiva saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Frederico Branco might have been able to make a better finish in the 96th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Noel Neiva. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Frederico Branco ran back to his position shaking his head. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Pensamento had played much better football throughout.
