Tiaguinho Dias showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Boruc Motowski in the 19th minute of the match. 27 minutes into the match, O mais Temido Fc's goal looked a bit too open when Boruc Motowski came free, but Tiaguinho Dias reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Victor Mendiko scored 0-2 in the 29th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Tiaguinho Dias, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Giovanni Arruda hit a great freekick 33 minutes into the match. When the match clock showed 34 minutes, the score became 0-3 when Victor Mendiko sped through O mais Temido Fc's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Tiaguinho Dias. Nilmar Ferreira received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. Tiaguinho Dias tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Tiaguinho Dias took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Victor Mendiko, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 47 minutes into the match, O mais Temido Fc's goal looked a bit too open when Nilmar Ferreira came free, but Tiaguinho Dias reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After the first half Itajuipe EC were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Tomás Vale to strike the kick off in the second half. After some fancy dribbling in the 51st minute, Boruc Motowski managed to get in a good position for a shot. Itajuipe EC's supporters rose to their feet, but Boruc Motowski was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Tiaguinho Dias breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Nilmar Ferreira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Nilmar Ferreira received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 68th minute. Tiaguinho Dias tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Tiaguinho Dias acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 73rd minute, took the ball on the long shot from Samuel Mangueira. After a defensive mix-up in O mais Temido Fc's zone, Victor Mendiko stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tiaguinho Dias came out of the goal and Victor Mendiko tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A collision led to O mais Temido Fc getting a freekick after 80 minutes play. Vitinho Leme hit a great ball. A hard shot by Samuel Mangueira from long distance, 81 minutes into the match, got Tiaguinho Dias's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. O mais Temido Fc's Tiaguinho Dias proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 86th minute of the match, managed to save O mais Temido Fc from getting a goal against them. In the 88th minute, Victor Mendiko ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Tiaguinho Dias was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-6. Victor Mendiko recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 93rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.
