Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Tupipano FC's Carlos Fernando Salgado started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 3rd minute Walmyr Pereira shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Edinho Senna saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Walmyr Pereira fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Edinho Senna having to interfere. In the 12th minute, Wellington de Amaral left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Ubaieira fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Walmyr Pereira's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Edinho Senna read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 22nd minute of play. Diogo Eger made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ronaldo Cerezo in the 29th minute of play. Tupipano FC's Diogo Eger played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ronaldo Cerezo in the 33rd minute of play. Edinho Senna was a little too slow when Carlos Fernando Salgado got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 34th minute. The score was now 1-1. The crowd rose to their feet as Tupipano FC's Walmyr Pereira slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Edinho Senna. That made the score 2-1 after 39 minutes of play. Tupipano FC's Diogo Eger played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ronaldo Cerezo in the 45th minute of play. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Wellington de Amaral to make the kick off. Walmyr Pereira received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 53rd minute. Edinho Senna tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Diogo Eger showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Wellington de Amaral in the 59th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice moves Ronaldo Cerezo could shoot a difficult shot in the 60th minute, which Diogo Eger however easily saved by the left post. Carlos Fernando Salgado kicked well hit freekick during the 63rd minute of the match. In the 65th minute, Ubaieira's Wellington de Amaral dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-2. Diogo Eger stood somewhat misplaced when Wellington de Amaral came free in front of goal and shot 2-3 to the left of him in the 69 minute. Edinho Senna made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Walmyr Pereira in the 76th minute of play. Wellington de Amaral fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Diogo Eger having to interfere. When André Pombal fell near the penalty area in the 82nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Ubaieira's protests and gave André Pombal a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Tupipano FC's Raphael de Sena got a free kick in the 83rd minute. In the 88th minute Wellington de Amaral shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Diogo Eger saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The Ubaieira players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
