Spectators: 7227 (Terracing: 5422, Seating: 1662, VIP seats: 143) Donato Arce started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. After 7 minutes, Gugu Massa mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Meaipe and the Jaraguá Fc players grew even worse after the yellow card. Jaraguá Fc made a substitution. Pedro Luiz Cunha replaced Donato Arce. In the 9th minute, Gugu Massa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 10 minutes into the match, Jaraguá Fc's Paulão Berger sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Osvaldinho Damião narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The audience thought a goal was coming when Gugu Duarte got free with Luizão Sousa in the 21st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. If Paulão Berger had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Luizão Sousa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gugu Duarte, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. After having played for 28 minutes, Paulão Berger managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Jaraguá Fc's supporters crossed their fingers, but Paulão Berger was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Pedro Luiz Cunha had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Jaraguá Fc's Willian Lara got a free kick in the 31st minute. Osvaldinho Damião didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Paulão Berger went, in the 35th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. The supporters of Meaipe booed when Jaraguá Fc was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 39 match minutes in a wonderful position. Willian Lara didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 45 minutes of play, Jaraguá Fc's Paulão Berger made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Osvaldinho Damião was left in no man's land by his defense there! The Meaipe players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Jaraguá Fc were winning 1-2.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Gugu Duarte made a kick off. Paulão Berger fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Osvaldinho Damião having to interfere. Osvaldinho Damião was a little too slow when Pedro Luiz Cunha got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 60th minute. The score was now 1-3. After 64 played minutes Meaipe got a freekick which was hit by Aílton Dante. With a little luck, Meaipe's Osvaldinho Damião got control of the ball when Paulão Berger tried to sneak it across the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Paulão Berger got free with Osvaldinho Damião in the 68th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 74th minute, Paulão Berger ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Osvaldinho Damião was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-4. If Paulão Berger had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Gugu Duarte scored 2-4 in the 78th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Luizão Sousa, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Pedro Luiz Cunha recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 84th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Pedro Luiz Cunha had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 89 minutes, Gil Leite mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Jaraguá Fc and the Meaipe players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a defensive mix-up in Meaipe's zone, Pedro Luiz Cunha stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Osvaldinho Damião came out of the goal and Pedro Luiz Cunha tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.
