Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Fumo's Caetano de Carvalho started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Germano Silveira received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Caetano Cosme came out and tried to block the shot, but Germano Silveira slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 4th minute. In the 8th minute, Toninho Veloso got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 10th minute the ball was on its way in behind Celting F C's goalkeeper Caetano Cosme, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Amauri de Castro hit a great freekick 14 minutes into the match. In the 28th minute Caetano de Carvalho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Caetano Cosme saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Caetano de Carvalho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Caetano de Carvalho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Caetano Cosme having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Caetano de Carvalho in the 44th minute of play forced Celting F C's goalkeeper Caetano Cosme to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Fumo's zone, Amauri de Castro stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Cléberson Lucas came out of the goal and Amauri de Castro tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Kléber Cardozo stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. With a little luck, Fumo's Cléberson Lucas got control of the ball when Amauri de Castro tried to sneak it across the goal line. If Toninho Veloso had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 63rd match minute, Celting F C was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Edmundo Braga to maneuver through the defense. In the 67th match minute, Fumo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Germano Silveira to maneuver through the defense. 70 minutes into the match, Celting F C's goal looked a bit too open when Ivo Garcia came free, but Caetano Cosme reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Caetano Cosme came out of the goal in the 71st minute to try and stop a shot by Fumo's Caetano de Carvalho. But to his dismay, Caetano de Carvalho quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-1. Caetano Cosme didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Caetano de Carvalho went, in the 74th minute, to the upper right corner, 4-1 was the resulting score. When Fumo's Caetano de Carvalho in the 80th minute got a chance for a shot 80th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Celting F C's goalie prevented a goal. Caetano de Carvalho scored 5-1 in the 84th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Caetano Cosme, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Caetano Cosme made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Caetano de Carvalho in the 93rd minute of play. After a rather tough play, Celting F C's Lucas Senna got a free kick in the 94th minute. Caetano de Carvalho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Caetano Cosme having to interfere. There was no doubt that Fumo were the better team. Fumo's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
