Gildo Couto showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Geraldo Azevedo in the 4th minute of the match. In the 7th match minute, The Tigers was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Angelo Azevedo to maneuver through the defense. In the 17th minute Geraldo Azevedo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gildo Couto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Samuca Tróia received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. Gildo Couto tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Virgílio Santana made a fantastic save in the 26th minute, when Juvenal Ceresso sent off a good shot on target. In the 29th minute, Geraldo Azevedo left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The The Tigers fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. In the 36thth minute of the game Samuca Tróia who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Ledo SS's Gildo Couto was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Ledo SS's zone, Geraldo Azevedo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gildo Couto came out of the goal and Geraldo Azevedo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The Tigers's attack was well implemented in the 42nd minute, but when Samuca Tróia was about to shoot he didn't get a good hit on the ball and it hit the crossbar and flew over. Goal Kick. Geraldo Azevedo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Gildo Couto tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The Ledo SS players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. The Tigers were winning 0-2.

The wind increased when Samuca Tróia made the kick off in the second half. Geraldo Azevedo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 57th minute, Geraldo Azevedo managed to get in a good position for a shot. After a defensive mix-up in Ledo SS's zone, Samuca Tróia stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gildo Couto came out of the goal and Samuca Tróia tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Geraldo Azevedo was extremely unlucky when he, in the 63rd minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. An unexpectedly hard shot by Samuca Tróia in the 68th minute of play forced Ledo SS's goalkeeper Gildo Couto to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ramiro Velasco kicked well hit freekick during the 69th minute of the match. If Geraldo Azevedo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Samuca Tróia sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Geraldo Azevedo in the 75thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. The Tigers's Samuca Tróia got a good chance for a goal in the 91st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Gildo Couto made an important save on a dangerous shot by Geraldo Azevedo in the 92nd minute. Gildo Couto stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Samuca Tróia's shot from short distance in the 94th minute. Geraldo Azevedo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 98th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The Tigers's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
