Spectators: 7244 (Terracing: 5434, Seating: 1666, VIP seats: 144) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Marcus Damião got the match started through his kick off. A collision led to A.E.Santacruzense getting a freekick after 9 minutes play. Luiz Fabiano Reis hit a great ball. In the 11th match minute, A.E.Santacruzense was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Luiz Fabiano Reis to maneuver through the defense. A.E.Santacruzense's William Simão played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marcus Damião in the 12th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in A.E.Santacruzense's zone, Marcus Damião stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. William Simão came out of the goal and Marcus Damião tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. William Simão took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dráuzio Moreno, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 17 played minutes A.E.Santacruzense got a freekick which was hit by Luiz Fabiano Reis. William Simão showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marcus Damião, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. 25 minutes into the match, A.E.Santacruzense's Deivid Prestes sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Raimundo Soares narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Deivid Prestes's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Raimundo Soares read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 28th minute of play. A.E.Santacruzense's William Simão played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marcus Damião in the 31st minute of play. William Simão showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marcus Damião in the 33rd minute of the match. Dráuzio Moreno received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. William Simão tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 41st minute Dráuzio Moreno shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but William Simão saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 43 minutes of play, Hiame UXX's Zé Vale made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. William Simão was left in no man's land by his defense there! 47 minutes into the match, A.E.Santacruzense's goal looked a bit too open when Dráuzio Moreno came free, but William Simão reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Perivaldo Gerber made a kick off. 55 minutes into the game, A.E.Santacruzense's Perivaldo Gerber nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Raimundo Soares made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. 63 minutes into the match, Hiame UXX's goal looked a bit too open when Deivid Prestes came free, but Raimundo Soares reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. William Simão was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 66th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Abel Recife. If Marcus Damião had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Deivid Prestes recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 83rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Luiz Fabiano Reis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Raimundo Soares showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Deivid Prestes in the 96th minute of the match. The Hiame UXX players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented A.E.Santacruzense from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
