Conrado Duarte showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gildo Donatello, who was totally free with the ball in the 13th minute. The supporters of Napas FC booed when Barcelona Fc was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 15 match minutes in a wonderful position. Humberto Machado didn't get a good kick on the ball. Antônio Teixeira helped the player get up and apologised. In the 46th match minute, Napas FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Antônio Teixeira to maneuver through the defense. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Gildo Donatello's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Conrado Duarte read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 74th minute of play. Dito Mangueira could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 75th minute of the match, but Erivaldo Pombal made a huge save. After 78 minutes, Gildo Donatello made it 1-0 with a short kick to the right side. Barcelona Fc's Conrado Duarte tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. 86 minutes into the match, Pedro Augusto Mesquita had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Conrado Duarte. Barcelona Fc's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Pedro Augusto Mesquita was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. Conrado Duarte showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Adalberto Pena in the 92nd minute of the match. When the referee ended the match the Napas FC players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
