After a rather tough play, Cachoeira F.C's Pedro Teles got a free kick in the 2nd minute. After a defensive mix-up in Bandecones FC's zone, Vânderson Ferreira stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Transito Lentoft came out of the goal and Vânderson Ferreira tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Vânderson Ferreira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 8th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Yuri Lira charged in rather forcefully in the 11th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Yuri Lira the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 11th match minute, Bandecones FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Yuri Lira to maneuver through the defense. If Vânderson Ferreira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Mădălin Negara hit a great freekick 17 minutes into the match. Nando Gerber fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Transito Lentoft having to interfere. Franklin de Azevedo hit a great freekick 26 minutes into the match. In the 29th minute Vânderson Ferreira shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Transito Lentoft saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 32nd match minute, Bandecones FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Yuri Lira to maneuver through the defense. In the 40th minute of the match Vânderson Ferreira sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Transito Lentoft skillfully saved the ball. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Yuri Lira was the one to do the kick off. A collision led to Bandecones FC getting a freekick after 53 minutes play. Carlos Augusto Machado hit a great ball. 57 minutes into the game, Manuel Garrincha was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Bandecones FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Cachoeira F.C the free kick. Transito Lentoft showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luiz Gustavo de Castro in the 58th minute of the match. Lino Catarinense struck a weak shot in the 68th minute. Transito Lentoft didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Cachoeira F.C. In the 77th minute the ball was on its way in behind Bandecones FC's goalkeeper Transito Lentoft, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. When Lino Catarinense fell near the penalty area in the 80th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Cachoeira F.C's protests and gave Lino Catarinense a yellow card for diving instead. Lino Catarinense kicked well hit freekick during the 80th minute of the match. A collision led to Bandecones FC getting a freekick after 82 minutes play. Mădălin Negara hit a great ball. Cachoeira F.C's Luiz Gustavo de Castro shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 83rd minute of play. The shot was stopped by Transito Lentoft but with some difficulty. Yuri Lira fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Válter Jacinto having to interfere. When Lino Catarinense was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 92 minutes had been played. Lino Catarinense hit a great freekick 93 minutes into the match. Yuri Lira blasted a shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Válter Jacinto having to make a save. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
