After some fancy dribbling in the 7th minute, Caco Sanches managed to get in a good position for a shot. Devitte FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Caco Sanches was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Benê Quintal breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After some careless play in the Burro da Central defense, Basílio Tepedino kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Benê Quintal. The Burro da Central fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Benê Quintal should have stopped the shot. If Basílio Tepedino had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 25 minutes into the match, Basílio Tepedino notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Burro da Central's Benê Quintal. Benê Quintal was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Virgílio Nascimento kicked well hit freekick during the 28th minute of the match. Benê Quintal stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Basílio Tepedino's shot from short distance in the 30th minute. Fabinho Bueno made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Raúl Zanette in the 35th minute of play. In the 37th minute, Caco Sanches made a precise shot to the right of Benê Quintal. Burro da Central's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-3. In the 47th minute Raúl Zanette shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fabinho Bueno saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.

In the 60th minute, Lauro Barral made a precise shot to the right of Fabinho Bueno. Devitte FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-3. After some careless play in the Devitte FC defense, Raúl Zanette kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Fabinho Bueno. The Devitte FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Fabinho Bueno should have stopped the shot. 72 minutes into the game, Devitte FC's Basílio Tepedino nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Benê Quintal made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-4. In the 77th minute, Devitte FC's Basílio Tepedino dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-5. The supporters of Devitte FC booed when Burro da Central was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 80 match minutes in a wonderful position. Raúl Zanette didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Basílio Tepedino came up free with the goalie in the 85th minute, the Devitte FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Basílio Tepedino couldn't finish the play. If Basílio Tepedino had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Caco Sanches blasted a shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Benê Quintal having to make a save. In the 92nd minute, Caco Sanches got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Devitte FC's Fabinho Bueno played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edgar Mendonça in the 95th minute of play. The Burro da Central fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Devitte FC were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
