The audience was convinced that Hudson Barral's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Duarte Valladares was relentless in the 12th minute of the game. 14 minutes into the game, Elano Miranda cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-3. César Torres sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. When Elano Miranda came up free with the goalie in the 42nd minute, the Mega Hertz FS fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Elano Miranda couldn't finish the play. If Elano Miranda had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 48th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The Baiazinha players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Mega Hertz FS were winning 1-3.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Dagoberto Galvão to strike the kick off in the second half. Duarte Valladares made an important save on a dangerous shot by Hudson Barral in the 53rd minute. Eduardo Souza's late challenge caught a Mega Hertz FS's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Eduardo Souza helped the player get up and apologised. In the 54th match minute, Baiazinha was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eduardo Souza to maneuver through the defense. In the 81st match minute, Mega Hertz FS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by César Torres to maneuver through the defense. Elano Miranda blasted a shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Duarte Valladares having to make a save. Toninho Lima came free with the goalkeeper in the 94th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Duarte Valladares could save by the left post. In the 96th minute the ball was on its way in behind Mega Hertz FS's goalkeeper Nilton Félix, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Mega Hertz FS's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
