When Antônio Carlos Sousa came up free with the goalie in the 4th minute, the AIK Scotland Lyonais fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Antônio Carlos Sousa couldn't finish the play. 10 minutes into the match, Caucaia FC's goal looked a bit too open when Benjamim Marquez came free, but Dadá Meireles reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Caucaia FC booed when AIK Scotland Lyonais was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 11 match minutes in a wonderful position. Antônio Carlos Sousa didn't get a good kick on the ball. Antônio Carlos Sousa didn't miss a given chance and shot in short distance 1-0 via right post in the game's 13th minute. AIK Scotland Lyonais's supporters showed their exhuberating excitement! Dadá Meireles took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Benjamim Marquez, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 23rd minute, Benjamim Marquez fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. With his leg Dadá Meireles managed to avoid a goal in the 24thth minute, when AIK Scotland Lyonais's Antônio Carlos Sousa fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. If Antônio Carlos Sousa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Benjamim Marquez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dadá Meireles having to interfere. 2-0 became the score in the 43rd minute when Benjamim Marquez elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Benjamim Marquez to make the kick off. In the 51st minute, Antônio Carlos Sousa ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Dadá Meireles was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-0. The corner ended in Rodrigo Paranaense almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Caucaia FC's Dadá Meireles did a great save. Edvaldo Silva charged in rather forcefully in the 65th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Edvaldo Silva the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, AIK Scotland Lyonais's Edvaldo Silva got a free kick in the 66th minute. Benjamim Marquez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Antônio Carlos Sousa took the ball and in the 74 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Dadá Meireles. Dadá Meireles dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 5-0. After 78 minutes of play, AIK Scotland Lyonais's Benjamim Marquez made it 6-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Dadá Meireles was left in no man's land by his defense there! A collision led to Caucaia FC getting a freekick after 83 minutes play. Natã Catarinense hit a great ball. The supporters of Caucaia FC booed when AIK Scotland Lyonais was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 87 match minutes in a wonderful position. Frederico da Silva didn't get a good kick on the ball. Rodrigo Paranaense hit a great freekick 89 minutes into the match. Benjamim Marquez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dadá Meireles having to interfere.
