Duda Magalhães acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 11th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Álvaro Paiva. Bebeto Lopez struck a weak shot in the 14th minute. Duda Magalhães didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Chambica SC. In the 29thth minute of the game Fabrício Peixoto who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Chambica SC's Kléberson Guedes was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Davi Donatello charged in rather forcefully in the 31st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Davi Donatello the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Leonardo Berger sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Duda Magalhães made a fantastic save in the 37th minute, when Téo Teles sent off a good shot on target. Jardel Fonseca's late challenge caught a Chambica SC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jardel Fonseca helped the player get up and apologised. After 41 minutes, Mateus Maia mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Guajaratuba and the Chambica SC players grew even worse after the yellow card. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luan Aparecido in the 45th minute of play forced Chambica SC's goalkeeper Kléberson Guedes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Téo Teles was the one to do the kick off. With a little luck, Chambica SC's Kléberson Guedes got control of the ball when Fabrício Peixoto tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 59th minute Luan Aparecido shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kléberson Guedes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Duda Magalhães showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Téo Teles, who was totally free with the ball in the 82nd minute. Téo Teles took the ball and in the 82 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Duda Magalhães. Duda Magalhães dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. After having played for 88 minutes, Fabrício Peixoto managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Guajaratuba's supporters crossed their fingers, but Fabrício Peixoto was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Luan Aparecido sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 94 minutes into the match, Chambica SC's goal looked a bit too open when Luan Aparecido came free, but Kléberson Guedes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Guajaratuba had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
