Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) An unexpectedly hard shot by Baltazar Paranaense in the 4th minute of play forced Cafeara's goalkeeper Nelson Zonta to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in RUBRONEGRO CRF's zone, Ruy Azevedo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Marcus Montenegro came out of the goal and Ruy Azevedo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ruy Azevedo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 10th minute. Marcus Montenegro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Edgar Peres fell near the penalty area in the 13th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Cafeara's protests and gave Edgar Peres a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Cafeara's Edgar Peres got a free kick in the 13th minute. In the 15th minute, Ruy Azevedo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Marcus Montenegro was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. After 19 played minutes RUBRONEGRO CRF got a freekick which was hit by Serafim Jacinto. If Baltazar Paranaense had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Baltazar Paranaense recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 25th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Marcus Montenegro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edvaldo Silveira in the 31st minute of the match. Mauro Leite kicked well hit freekick during the 33rd minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Cafeara's Tomás Cosme got a free kick in the 37th minute. Celsinho Linhares fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nelson Zonta having to interfere. When Ruy Azevedo came up free with the goalie in the 46th minute, the Cafeara fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ruy Azevedo couldn't finish the play. In the 47th minute Edvaldo Silveira shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcus Montenegro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Edvaldo Silveira was the one to do the kick off. In the 52nd match minute, Cafeara was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Raphael Alcântara to maneuver through the defense. When Raphael Alcântara fell near the penalty area in the 57th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Cafeara's protests and gave Raphael Alcântara a yellow card for diving instead. Raphael Alcântara hit a great freekick 57 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 60th minute, Edvaldo Silveira managed to get in a good position for a shot. Cafeara's supporters rose to their feet, but Edvaldo Silveira was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Marcus Montenegro breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 62 minutes into the game, Ruy Azevedo cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Marcus Montenegro was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After some fancy dribbling in the 65th minute, Ruy Azevedo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Cafeara's supporters rose to their feet, but Ruy Azevedo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Marcus Montenegro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edvaldo Silveira in the 73rd minute of the match. After 73 played minutes RUBRONEGRO CRF got a freekick which was hit by Alessandro Koehler. Edvaldo Silveira fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marcus Montenegro having to interfere. Cássio Freire hit a great freekick 77 minutes into the match. When Edvaldo Silveira, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 83 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Marcus Montenegro was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. 85 minutes into the match, RUBRONEGRO CRF's goal looked a bit too open when Ruy Azevedo came free, but Marcus Montenegro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Cafeara's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Rogério Leme in the 87th minute. After a rather tough play, Cafeara's Edgar Peres got a free kick in the 87th minute. In the 87th minute, Edgar Peres fired away an extremely well hit free kick, but unfortunately the ball went just outside to the right hand side of Marcus Montenegro. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 95th minute of the game. One of Cafeara:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of RUBRONEGRO CRF:s goal. The goalkeeper, Nelson Zonta, was totally fooled by RUBRONEGRO CRF's Luiz Guilherme de Queirós, who 96 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. RUBRONEGRO CRF's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
