Richard Rezende didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Matutina. When Nuno do Vale fell near the penalty area in the 16th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Micaelos F C's protests and gave Nuno do Vale a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Micaelos F C's Nuno do Vale got a free kick in the 16th minute. Micaelos F C's Richard Rezende played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Natanael de Sousa in the 18th minute of play. In the last second Richard Rezende throw himself and got hold of the ball when Natanael de Sousa in the 21stth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. A collision led to Micaelos F C getting a freekick after 22 minutes play. Nuno do Vale hit a great ball. Richard Rezende stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Natanael de Sousa's shot from short distance in the 26th minute. João Carlos Furtado charged in rather forcefully in the 28th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed João Carlos Furtado the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The long shot by Natanael de Sousa in the 29th minute really tested Richard Rezende's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. In the 30th match minute, Matutina was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Luís Eduardo Seco to maneuver through the defense. After 32 minutes, Luís Eduardo Seco mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Matutina and the Micaelos F C players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Micaelos F C booed when Matutina was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 32 match minutes in a wonderful position. Luís Eduardo Seco didn't get a good kick on the ball. Pedro Luiz Lopez came out of the goal in the 35th minute to try and stop a shot by Micaelos F C's Júlio Vander. But to his dismay, Júlio Vander quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. The supporters of Micaelos F C booed when Matutina was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 41 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gilberto Urbano didn't get a good kick on the ball. Matías Palmeira hit a great freekick 45 minutes into the match. If Dinei das Neves had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Natanael de Sousa to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute Natanael de Sousa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Richard Rezende saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as Micaelos F C's Júlio Vander slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Pedro Luiz Lopez. That made the score 0-2 after 54 minutes of play. If Júlio Vander had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Micaelos F C's attentive Tales Mendes managed to snatch the ball when Túlio Valle made a throw-in in the 59th minute of the game. Thiago Trancoso blasted a shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Richard Rezende having to make a save. Pedro Augusto Rodrigues received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 65th minute. Pedro Luiz Lopez tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 68 minutes into the match, Matutina's goalkeeper Pedro Luiz Lopez had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Júlio Vander. After a defensive mix-up in Micaelos F C's zone, Dinei das Neves stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Richard Rezende came out of the goal and Dinei das Neves tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Natanael de Sousa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 76th minute. Richard Rezende tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. João Carlos Furtado hit a great freekick 76 minutes into the match. Deivid Ramalho hit a great freekick 85 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, Matutina's Igor Simão got a free kick in the 86th minute. After 87 played minutes, Micaelos F C's Júlio Vander shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Pedro Luiz Lopez came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Micaelos F C reached it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Natanael de Sousa in the 92nd minute of play forced Micaelos F C's goalkeeper Richard Rezende to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Richard Rezende showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Natanael de Sousa in the 94th minute of the match. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Micaelos F C had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
