In the 78th minute, Vânderson Arce hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Eliézer Brodel stood somewhat misplaced when Paulo José Guerra came free in front of goal and shot 0-1 to the left of him in the 79 minute. 82 minutes into the match, Paulo José Guerra dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Eliézer Brodel, 0-2. In the 89th minute Paulo José Guerra shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eliézer Brodel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Eliézer Brodel, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Jerumirim's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
