The Gabs Football Club fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. Gerson Gomes blasted a shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Marc-André Flury having to make a save. Gerson Gomes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marc-André Flury having to interfere. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Evandro Saraiva stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The supporters of BRASIL booed when Gabs Football Club was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 66 match minutes in a wonderful position. Geovani de Castro didn't get a good kick on the ball.
