Caetano Pitta showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Carlos Alberto Carvalho, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. Synthroid Football Club's Caetano Pitta played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Clóvis Monteiro in the 26th minute of play. Edvaldo dos Santos hit a great freekick 30 minutes into the match. With an all-out effort, Mad Season FC's Caetano Pitta threw himself towards the right post 31 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Carlos Alberto Carvalho, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Breno Vieira in the 35th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Samuel Velasco prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After a defensive mix-up in Synthroid Football Club's zone, Thiago Donatello stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Caetano Pitta came out of the goal and Thiago Donatello tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Breno Vieira sent away a hard shot on goal in the 48th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.

After having played for 56 minutes, Breno Vieira managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Synthroid Football Club's supporters crossed their fingers, but Breno Vieira was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Samuel Velasco was out of position in the 57 minute of play, and Breno Vieira capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Breno Vieira really showed his touch with that goal: 1-1. The audience was convinced that Thiago Donatello's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Caetano Pitta was relentless in the 63rd minute of the game. Carlos Alberto Carvalho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. A collision led to Synthroid Football Club getting a freekick after 70 minutes play. Christian Nascimento hit a great ball. In the 72nd minute Carlos Alberto Carvalho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Caetano Pitta saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Carlos Alberto Carvalho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Caetano Pitta having to interfere. In the 89th minute, Carlos Alberto Carvalho ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Caetano Pitta was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. Synthroid Football Club's Caetano Pitta played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Carlos Alberto Carvalho in the 96th minute of play. In the 98th minute, Thiago Donatello got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Mad Season FC walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
