Spectators: 7204 (Terracing: 5405, Seating: 1656, VIP seats: 143) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Isaltino Coutinho got the match started through his kick off. 3 minutes into the match, Sallesopolis FC's goal looked a bit too open when Isaltino Coutinho came free, but Narciso Linares reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Carlinhos Abraão hit a great freekick 4 minutes into the match. Isaltino Coutinho scored 0-1 in the 6th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Narciso Linares, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 10th minute, Carlinhos Abraão hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 15 minutes into the match, Oberica's goalkeeper João Carlos Carneiro had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jonathan Reis. An unexpectedly hard shot by Elano Goiano in the 16th minute of play forced Sallesopolis FC's goalkeeper Narciso Linares to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Yuri Quintal kicked well hit freekick during the 16th minute of the match. After having played for 22 minutes, Elano Goiano managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Oberica's supporters crossed their fingers, but Elano Goiano was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Jonathan Reis had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cássio de Moraes received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. João Carlos Carneiro came out and tried to block the shot, but Cássio de Moraes slotted it home off the left post making it 2-1 in the 30th minute. After 37 played minutes Oberica got a freekick which was hit by Luiz Fabiano Barral. After 38 played minutes Gustavo Torres shot from long distance. At first the shot seemed to be simple for Oberica's João Carlos Carneiro to catch but Gustavo Torres was lucky. It became 3-1 after the goalkeeper had been careless and dropped the ball into goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Walmyr Salles in the 46th minute of play forced Sallesopolis FC's goalkeeper Narciso Linares to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Oberica booed when Sallesopolis FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 46 match minutes in a wonderful position. Yuri Quintal didn't get a good kick on the ball. Oberica's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Luiz Fabiano Barral in the 49th minute. After taking down the ball on Oberica's corner Luiz Fabiano Barral fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Narciso Linares quite easily take care of the ball. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-1 at half-time.

After some fancy dribbling in the 67th minute, Elano Goiano managed to get in a good position for a shot. Oberica's supporters rose to their feet, but Elano Goiano was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Narciso Linares breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Isaltino Coutinho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 68th minute. Narciso Linares tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Oberica's zone, Jonathan Reis stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. João Carlos Carneiro came out of the goal and Jonathan Reis tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. João Carlos Carneiro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cássio de Moraes, who was totally free with the ball in the 74th minute. Jonathan Reis recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 76th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Cássio de Moraes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 77th minute. João Carlos Carneiro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. João Carlos Carneiro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cássio de Moraes in the 81st minute of the match. If Ademir Mello had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. João Carlos Carneiro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cássio de Moraes, who was totally free with the ball in the 89th minute.
