Justin Vida made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. When Rômulo Velloso came up free with the goalie in the 14th minute, the Marvolo F.C. fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Rômulo Velloso couldn't finish the play. Nelsinho Barreto received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. César Leal tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of BARCELONA booed when Marvolo F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 24 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ulisses Sena didn't get a good kick on the ball. Dorian Eger sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. BARCELONA's Nicolas Gaúcho got a good chance for a goal in the 30th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Nelsinho Barreto received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. César Leal tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, BARCELONA's Rafinha de Andrade got a free kick in the 37th minute. Olavo Gonçalves hit a great freekick 38 minutes into the match. Rômulo Velloso fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without César Leal having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dorian Eger in the 48th minute of play forced Marvolo F.C.'s goalkeeper Justin Vida to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Rômulo Velloso stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. César Leal made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rômulo Velloso in the 53rd minute of play. In the 54th minute, Dorian Eger got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Luciano Salles kicked well hit freekick during the 56th minute of the match. In the 57th minute of the match Rafinha de Andrade sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Justin Vida skillfully saved the ball. After 61 played minutes Marvolo F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Olavo Gonçalves. Marvolo F.C.'s Nelsinho Barreto got a good chance for a goal in the 63rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Nelsinho Barreto recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 66th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Nicolas Gaúcho could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 73rd minute of the match, but Justin Vida made a huge save. After 74 minutes of play, Marvolo F.C.'s Nelsinho Barreto made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. César Leal was left in no man's land by his defense there! After having played for 80 minutes, Nelsinho Barreto managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Marvolo F.C.'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Nelsinho Barreto was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Justin Vida showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dorian Eger, who was totally free with the ball in the 82nd minute. After a defensive mix-up in BARCELONA's zone, Olavo Gonçalves stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. César Leal came out of the goal and Olavo Gonçalves tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Rômulo Velloso had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Rafinha de Andrade received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Justin Vida came out and tried to block the shot, but Rafinha de Andrade slotted it home off the left post making it 1-2 in the 93rd minute. 95 minutes into the game, Marvolo F.C.'s Rômulo Velloso nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. César Leal made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-2. BARCELONA succeeded in salvaging a draw, even though Marvolo F.C. had controlled the match.
