Gutierri FC's Fiori Meireles proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 8th minute of the match, managed to save Gutierri FC from getting a goal against them. Paulão Toscano's late challenge caught a LOUD's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Paulão Toscano helped the player get up and apologised. In the 14th minute, Paulão Toscano hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A hard shot by Murilo Botelho from long distance, 15 minutes into the match, got Fiori Meireles's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Fiori Meireles made a fantastic save in the 18th minute, when Evandro de Andrade sent off a good shot on target. After having played for 19 minutes, Paulão Toscano managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Gutierri FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Paulão Toscano was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Evandro de Andrades short, quick shot in the 22ndth minute got Fiori Meireles to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. The audience was convinced that Zeca Massa's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Fiori Meireles was relentless in the 25th minute of the game. Zeca Massa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Evandro de Andrade scored 1-0 in the 31st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Fiori Meireles, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 51st match minute, LOUD was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eusébio Jacinto to maneuver through the defense. Magno Pereira came free with the goalkeeper in the 52nd minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Kléber Mota could save by the left post. In the 54thth minute of the game Evandro de Andrade who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Gutierri FC's Fiori Meireles was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 63 minutes into the match, Gutierri FC's goal looked a bit too open when Zeca Massa came free, but Fiori Meireles reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 64 minutes into the game, Evandro de Andrade cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-0. Fiori Meireles was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 67 minutes into the game, LOUD's Evandro de Andrade nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Fiori Meireles made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 5-0. After 77 played minutes Gutierri FC got a freekick which was hit by Romário Paiva. Fiori Meireles made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jorginho Cardozo in the 78th minute of play. Magno Pereira received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 80th minute. Kléber Mota tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Kléber Mota took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Paulão Toscano, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zeca Massa in the 90th minute of play forced Gutierri FC's goalkeeper Fiori Meireles to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 93 minutes into the game, Eriberto Jacinto was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Gutierri FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave LOUD the free kick. In the 93rd minute, one of Gutierri FC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Gutierri FC. Jorginho Cardozo placed the ball on the penalty spot and got himself ready to shoot. Post out! In the 97thth minute of the game Evandro de Andrade who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Gutierri FC's Fiori Meireles was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Evandro de Andrade might have been able to make a better finish in the 102nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Fiori Meireles. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Evandro de Andrade ran back to his position shaking his head. There was no doubt that LOUD were the better team. LOUD's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
