Jacare's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jeferson Cardozo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Gláuber Queirós was the one to do the kick off. Thanks to some nice moves Alexsandro de Salles could shoot a difficult shot in the 76th minute, which Gil Vaz however easily saved by the left post. Gláuber Queirós received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 78th minute. Valdo Perez tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Orlando Dias fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gil Vaz having to interfere. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 96th minute of the game. One of Nuguacu:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Jacare:s goal. Alexsandro de Salles shot the penalty kick right outside the post.
