Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Cesinha Urbano got the match started through his kick off. Vitinho Rezende took the ball and in the 2 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Arthur Amorim. Arthur Amorim dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. After a rather tough play, Engenho's Adelino Luz got a free kick in the 6th minute. André Luiz Brito sent away a hard shot on goal in the 9th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 12 minutes into the match, André Luiz Brito dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Arthur Amorim, 2-0. André Luiz Brito did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 4-0 to the left of a surprised Arthur Amorim 21 minutes into the match. Engenho's André Luiz Brito got a good chance for a goal in the 23rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. André Luiz Brito struck a weak shot in the 26th minute. Arthur Amorim didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Engenho. After a rather tough play, Ferroviária's Célio Massa got a free kick in the 27th minute. André Luiz Brito recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 28th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a rather tough play, Ferroviária's Pedro Luís Paes got a free kick in the 29th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Sílvio Luís Baptista in the 35th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Arthur Amorim saved Ferroviária from getting behind. Adelino Luz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Pedro Luís Paes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. Toninho Leme tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cesinha Urbano in the 41st minute of play forced Engenho's goalkeeper Toninho Leme to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. André Luiz Brito could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 45th minute of the match, but Arthur Amorim made a huge save. Cesinha Urbano fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Toninho Leme having to interfere. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Arthur Amorim took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sílvio Luís Baptista, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 53 minutes into the game, Engenho's Sílvio Luís Baptista nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Arthur Amorim made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 5-0. 58 minutes into the match, Vitinho Rezende had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Arthur Amorim. Ferroviária's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Vitinho Rezende was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 6-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vitinho Rezende in the 66th minute of play forced Ferroviária's goalkeeper Arthur Amorim to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 70th match minute, Ferroviária was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Pedro Luís Paes to maneuver through the defense. André Luiz Brito received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 71st minute. Arthur Amorim tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Arthur Amorim showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sílvio Luís Baptista, who was totally free with the ball in the 72nd minute. 74 minutes into the game, Engenho's André Luiz Brito nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Arthur Amorim made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vitinho Rezende in the 85th minute of play. Arthur Amorim showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sílvio Luís Baptista in the 86th minute of the match. In the 87th minute Vitinho Rezende shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arthur Amorim saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Arthur Amorim showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from André Luiz Brito, who was totally free with the ball in the 89th minute. In the 90th minute, Vitinho Rezende got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Arthur Amorim didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Engenho.
